Forest Specialist, Forest Investment Program (FIP)

Ines Angulo joined the CIF in November 2015 as a Forest Specialist for the Forest Investment Program (FIP).

Prior to joining CIF, Ines worked at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), where she coordinated the monitoring and supervision of the IDB portfolio financed by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and, most recently, supported the implementation and design of natural resources and environmental projects from the IDB Country Office in Costa Rica.

Previous experience include working on issues such as evaluation of environmental projects (GEF Independent Evaluation Office), forestry policy analysis (World Wildlife Fund WWF-US), capacity building on illegal trade (WWF-Peru), and independent field research in protected areas in Peru.

Ines holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry from the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina in Peru, and an MEM Degree in Environmental Management from Yale University.
